The MTC is amazing! Mariah Housari told me that when she walked in she was super happy and I feel the same way. Getting up at 6:30 and going to bed around 10:30 or later is completely worth it. I feel like I am truly studying the scriptures and receiving answers to questions I might have. Leaving my phone was so easy. It would be convenient to have a tablet or phone but I know ill just know the scriptures better as I study them and remember them.
To Mackay and Grayci- Try to separate yourself from technology. It is always good to put down the Ipods, controllers, and other electronics and to focus on something greater that will help your life in the future. Study the scriptures. Dont just read them and go through the motions. Truly study and ponder them. Learn the meaning and importance of each scripture. Study conference talks and other scripture. Dive into the knowledge God has to offer to you. I know that it will bless your life. I hope everything is going well. It is amazing here. We have so much to do and we are always kept busy and always have something to be working on or doing. My district is very close. They are all a bunch of great people. We all get along and are able to build off each others thoughts. Keep Mackay going to mission prep. It is early but it is the best thing for him. Have him take notes and explain what he has learned. It will be an essential tool for him to use when it is his time to serve.

I saw Kolbe today and I have seen Jaxson several times. I need to get a picture with them. They both seem to really enjoy it but I know they are dying to get out. Jaxson still has about 30 days and Kolbe still has 8 weeks left. This place is a lot like EFY. The learning side of EFY I should say. Its been a great experience so far and I am so excited to get out into the field. Everything for me is going great! There were many missionaries on my flight to Salt Lake and I sat by a sister who knows Brady's girlfriend very well. It was really nice talking to her because it made the flight go by fast. I have also seen Kylie Pressley many times. She is always so happy and she seems to be full of the spirit. I know she will do amazing as a missionary.
I will make sure to take a lot of pictures and include them in my next email. Thanks for getting me to this point. I am going to make the most of it and make sure I do my best and return in 2 years (actually about 726 days from today) with no regrets. I can't wait to get out into the field and teach the people of Colorado!
Funny story from when I was at the airport in Phoenix waiting to go through security. There was a man in front of me and in front of him was another Elder. Him and I began to talk and the man (obviously not LDS) asked why there were so many young men wearing suits at the airport. Part of me wanted to say that we just like to travel in style but the other Elder told him that we would be serving missions for our church. He asked where we were going and the other Elder said Denmark and I said Denver. He looked at me and said so he got the cool place and you got the stoners... Yes. I got the stoners but I don't have to learn Danish and I am greatful for that.
Thank you for everything you guys do for me! I sure do miss you guys but I know this is where I need to be. It has been an amazing experience so far and I can't wait to tell you more about it! We tend to make simple things (like walking into an air-conditioned building after working out) and stating that the church is true. The church is true! I am lucky to be out here and being able to teach others so they can know for themselves that the church is in fact true! I love you guys and miss you tons!
